You will be a socially-native, culture-driven creative and live and breathe social content, understanding social formats and requirements to create engaging social content (for both paid and organic channels).
You will play a vital role in creating social-first edits for various platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:
- Proven experience required in social content creation (including motion editing and design)
- Portfolio showcasing social-first edits, including motion graphics and animation
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and formats, and a keen eye on the latest trends within these spaces, editing content in reaction to trends and platform tools
- Expertise in After Effects, understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro
- Creative thinker and solution focused attitude
- Solid creative/design skills, including typography, layout, colour, and composition, to create visually appealing tailored social content
- Strong proof-reading skills
- Attention to detail
- Passion about creating innovative social content and pushing boundaries
- Good communication skills
- Experienced working across multiple sectors, in-house or agency side
- Understanding of audio and video fundamentals, digital technologies, formats, aspect ratios, video codecs, and file formats for web and beyond

Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality social video content for clients across multiple sectors (For example: home improvement, retail, interiors, food and technology, to name a few!)
- Concepts that align with client brand values and social persona.
- Create compelling and consistent visuals that aligns with marketing strategies and brand guidelines for each client.
- Collaborate closely with social account managers, creatives and copywriters to transform concepts into impactful social media content to meet client objectives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social trends and editing techniques to ensure content/formats are current and engaging. Sharing these updates among internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute fresh ideas and participate in concepting for social and digital campaigns.

Looking for a paid social specialist to join the digital and social team at Refinery initially on a fixed term basis for 12 months. Must be able to demonstrate strong experience in paid social, you will be adept at running ad campaigns across all major social platforms. Familiar with building paid social strategies. Plan, manage and execute paid social campaigns from account setup, optimisation to reporting. Be considered in your approach to look for ways to drive successful campaigns, and always aligned to client objectives.
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:
- Degree qualification or relevant experience in Marketing / Advertising is desired
- In-house or agency experience across multiple sectors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms
- Strong copywriting and proof-reading skills

- Understanding or key tracking metrics, such as pixels and UTM links to effectively track social campaigns

Key responsibilities:
- Ad campaign set up, management and reporting across all key social channels.
- Assisting to create bespoke paid social strategies for all our clients, across a variety of objectives.
- Work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, campaigns launches, or other brand messaging.
- Production of client reports, managing targeting and budgets to meet client objectives.
- Manage status updates, time allocations or campaign results and extract insight to provide recommendations.
- Monitor advertising trends and develop reports on competitor activity.
- Build and maintain client relationships and trust.
- Research and analyse social media trends, including social media ad revenue and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy.
- Communicate strategy and updates with both internal and external stakeholders confidently.
- Oversees specific client social media accounts.
- Work with our creative team to brief engaging, creative, innovative ad content.
- Proof and traffic ad creative work through the studio.
- Supporting the Refinery social and digital team with daily tasks and management of internal social channels.
