Optimising GJW Direct’s SEO strategy, content, and technical health to ensure a smooth-sailing website.

The Challenge

GJW Direct is a part of the Munich Re group, a world leading provider of reinsurance and primary insurance policies based in Munich. The GJW Direct name has been trusted within the marine insurance industry for 195+ years. Refinery were challenged with getting GJW Direct’s digital content up to scratch to ensure their online brand presence was as prevalent as it is offline, bolstering their presence as thought leaders and ensuring that when boat owners think about insurance, they know who to turn to.

The Work

To make GJW Direct’s presence as strong online as it was offline, we created an SEO strategy of tailored monthly on page and off page activities.. This included conducting detailed industry-specific research to inform our work. We created insightful digital content that continued to position GJW as thought leaders, as well as optimising landing pages and completing technical audits to ensure they met ever-changing E-E-A-T requirements.
